In this, our 150th season, we celebrate a milestone reached only by two other choral organizations in this country. This year we are also proud to introduce Christopher Shepard as the new Artisic Director.
Mr. Shepard and The Worcester Chorus are excited to continue in the tradition of bringing beautiful choral music to Central New England.
Celebrating 150 years of choral music means looking back to what brought us here. Traditional music of the past - from classical to gospel - is the foundation of The Worcester Chorus. Performances this year include masterworks by Beethoven, Handel, Haydn, Brahms & Mendelssohn as well as traditional American songs that celebrate the heritage of choral music.
